The barrier will read your registration plate, open and give you a ticket - it takes about 20 seconds. If the barrier does not recognise your number plate please take a ticket. Keep the ticket safe as you will need it to leave.

Once you're through the barrier find a space and keep your keys. It's a short walk over the road to the terminal from there - just follow the signs.
You should have your booking confirmation with you when you arrive at the car park and when you leave, in case there is a problem with any of the machines.
If you stay for more days than you booked, you will be charged at the car park's current daily rate. If you stay for fewer days than you booked, you will not be given a refund.
An administration fee of £5 will be deducted from any refunds of double payments made through failure to adhere to the arrival and departure procedures.
Transfers
The car park is opposite the terminal within easy walking distance.
Directions
- Leave the M18 at junction 3 and join the A6182, Great Yorkshire Way.
- When you reach the roundabout take the first exit at the roundabout to stay on the road.
- Continue on this road until you reach a turning for the A638 (Great North Road) and turn right towards the airport.
- Take a left onto Hurst Lane.
- After a mile, turn right, following signs for the airport.
- Take the second exit to stay on the road at the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit again to stay on the road.
- Take the first exit at the next roundabout.
- At another roundabout, take the third exit.
- The car park will be on your right, signposted Short Stay.
