The airport's own Short Stay car parks are just behind the departure building, less than a 5-minute walk away. Park, keep your keys and catch your flight, secure in the knowledge that your car will be protected by hourly patrols and CCTV while you're away on your well-earned break. When you get back, just walk to your car and drive off. Airport parking as simple as a trip to the shops.
Security measures
Short Stay 3 is patrolled every hour, 24 hours a day by security guards and has 24-hour CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence and lighting at night. It has been awarded the Park Mark, a security award for car parks which is accredited by the police.

Instructions

Drive up to the entry barrier and wait for the machine to read your number plate - this can take up to a minute. The barrier will open, so you can drive in and park. If nothing happens after a minute, press the button marked "assistance" so you can speak to a member of staff through the intercom. They'll ask you to confirm your details. Don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any point or you will be charged again for your parking.Also, don't press the ticket button, as this will stop you being able to gain entry.

Once you're through the barrier find a space and keep your keys. From there walk to the terminal, following the signs. It will take about 5-7 minutes.
We recommend removing any hand sanitiser from your car while you're away - during hot weather it can become flammable.

Early or late? The car park offers a 6 hour grace period at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Transfers
The car park is within walking distance of the terminal, so transfers aren't needed.
Directions
If you are coming from the north:
- Leave the M1 at junction 24 and take the fourth exit at the roundabout onto Ashby Road.
- Take the third exit at the next roundabout, staying on Ashby Road.

If you are coming from the south:
- Leave the motorway at junction 23a and take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Ashby Road.

Then:
- Go straight on at the next roundabout.
- Turn right when you see a sign for the Jurys Inn hotel.
- Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Viscount Road.
- Go straight on at the next roundabout, then turn left onto Ambassador Road.

Ce fut un peu compliqué de rentrer dans le parking car c'était les premiers jours de la réceptionniste.heureusement qu'un client sortait. Et le bus est environ toutes les 30mn mais parfois 1h. Cela peut être long. Globalement vu le prix c'est attractif. Je recommande mais si les bus pouvait passer un peu plus ce serait vraiment une plus value.

Service super pratique certes mais impossible de se garer avant 5h30 alors que la navette commence à 5h et attention les places restantes à 5h30 sont les moins pratiques surtout si vous avez une grosse berline ce sera très compliqué de vous stationner.

Très bien sauf que nous n'avons reçu aucun mail ou texto le jour du départ pour nous indiquer la marche à suivre. Un stress inutile dont on se serait bien passé mais personnel de l'hôtel très gentil et navette nickel.
