Free2Move announces Spain roll-out of Car On Demand, its flexible and all inclusive car subscription service

In its commitment to address customer needs, Free2Move is launching its flexible medium-term car rental solution without commitment in Spain. Starting in Madrid, Free2Move plans to open its multi brand service in the rest of the country in 2021. This monthly subscription service gives access to new and used vehicles, including maintenance, insurance and delivery.

A 100% flexible car rental solution

Car on Demand provides ultimate flexibility and affordability. Either private or professional customers can rent a vehicle for several months and can terminate the rental at any time, thus controlling their budget. With month-to-month subscription, the all-inclusive service covers insurance for two drivers, maintenance, road-side assistance and free delivery within Madrid Capital. Starting at 275€ per month, Car On Demand will offer a variety of cars, ranging from sedans to sport/utility vehicles accessed from a selection of brands including the Stellantis portfolio, such as Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Fiat and other OEM’s.

“We’re excited to bring our ultra-flexible subscription and service to Madrid, where we have an important satisfied customer base of more than 300.000 clients” said Brigitte Courtehoux, Free2Move Brand CEO, “This market is among the most competitive and open to new mobility and vehicle access models, and we’re confident Car On Demand will further broaden consumer interest in this option.”

Car On Demand, a solution adapted to the Spanish market

Free2Move is already present in Spain with its carsharing service in Madrid with more than 600 electric vehicles, short and long-term rental, parking, electric vehicle recharging and driver booking, through a unique application. Car On Demand is an alternative option to purchasing or leasing a vehicle due to its flexible model. Interest in this model has increased in popularity driven by the current pandemic in which 43% of Spaniards stated that they prefer to use a private car over other means of transportation, according to a Capgemini study from April 2020. Car On Demand has been already launched in France, Portugal and recently in the United States. The offer has reached more than 60,000 subscriptions requests globally.
