Security measures
Airparks Luton is protected by CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting, and is patrolled 24 hours a day.
Airparks Luton holds the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. To be awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to have modern security measures and be clean and well-lit.
Instructions
We recommend that you follow the directions given to get to the car park, but if you still want to use a sat nav, you should enter the full address and postcode to avoid getting lost.
Pull up at the entrance barrier, which will lift automatically after a few seconds, then press the green button at the second barrier in order to enter the car park – as you enter we will record the condition of your vehicle for safety and security.
Park in one of the arrivals bays, then head into the check-in building. You check yourself in using the machines - it's a very quick process, though you'll need to have a copy of your booking confirmation with you. There's a member of staff on hand to help if you need it.
The machine will give you a tag, which you should attach to your keys, and a ticket, which you should keep safe as you'll need it later. Drop your keys in the box with the same number as the lane you've parked in. Your car will be parked for you, so just head to the waiting area and hop on the bus to the airport. You'll need to show your ticket to the driver.
If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait for a bus with more space during busy times, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport.
Please make sure you leave your charging cable in your vehicle so that the car park can charge it for you whilst you're away.

- Maximum vehicle dimensions are 2m wide x 2.1m high x 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the above maximum dimensions.
- Vehicles with a taxi license plate can be parked on-site, but cannot use the Return Greet or Meet and Greet services offered by Airparks.
- If you come back to a flat battery, the car park will be happy to jump start your car for free.
- We normally advise our customers to give themselves 40 minutes to park at Airparks and transfer to the airport - longer during the rush hour between 4am and 8am. However, there are currently roadworks on the M1 between junctions 6a and 12, so we advise you to leave extra time for your journey to Airparks too. - If you return early, you will need to contact the car park directly to give them as much notice as possible. If you don't, there may be a delay before you get your car back. We can't offer you a refund for any booked parking that you don't use.
- Please make sure you leave your charging cable in your vehicle so that the car park can charge it for you whilst you're away.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, buses to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.
Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days.
- Please note the transfer drop off point is a 5-8 min walk from the terminal.

Transfers run regularly, 24 hours a day are included in the price. The journey normally takes around 14 minutes - it may take longer during rush hour.
Directions
Coming from the North (M1)
- Leave the M1 at junction 10.
- At the motorway roundabout, take the first exit from the north onto Airport Way A1081.
- Keep in the left hand lane and take the slip road signposted towards St. Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- You'll come out onto a roundabout where you should take the first exit onto London Road.
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit signposted St Albans, Harpenden A1081.
- Shortly after, turn right onto Newlands Road, following signs for Airparks.
- Turn left onto the B4540, signposted Slip End and Markyate.
- At the traffic lights, turn right onto Grove Road.
- Take the first left onto the service road.
- Airparks will be on the right after about 100 meters.
Coming from the South (M1)
- Leave the M1 at junction 9.
- At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A5183 .
- Continue on A5183 for approximately 2 miles and at the traffic lights turn right onto B4540 (Luton Road towards Luton) .
- Continue on B4540 for approximately 1.5 miles into Slip End village and at the traffic lights turn left onto Grove Road.
- Take the first left onto the service road.
- Airparks will be on the right after about 100 meters.
