The car park is right outside the terminal, around a 7-10 minute walk from check-in. It couldn't be simpler to use: drive in, park and go. There's no paperwork, no designated spaces, no check-in desks, no handing in your keys - there's no fuss. What's more, there are loads of security features. It has 24-hour CCTV, lighting, security barriers and is regularly patrolled by staff.

Go to the Blue car park and drive to the barrier, but don't push the ticket button or you may be charged again. Your number plate should be automatically recognised, but if not press the assistance button and speak to a member of the team.

Once the barrier has risen, drive through and park in any space. Make a note of the zone and row, keep your keys, then make your way to the terminal.
We recommend removing any hand sanitiser from your car while you're away - during hot weather it can become flammable.

If Short Stay Blue car park is indicated as full, please continue to use this car park, as a space has been allocated for you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £62, which is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

Directions from London:
- Leave the M11 at Junction 8a.
- Follow the road for just over 1 mile and take the Stansted Airport exit, branch left.
- At Bassingbourn roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Thremhall Avenue and at Coopers End Roundabout take the third exit.
- Follow signs to the Short Stay Car Parks.
- Take the entrance signposted as Blue Short Stay Car Park, which is after the Green Short Stay car park.

Directions from Cambridge:
- Leave the M11 at Junction 8.
- Take the A120 exit to Stansted Airport. At Priory Wood Roundabout take the 3rd exit, merge onto the A120 and branch left.
- Take the 2nd exit off Bassingbourn roundabout onto Thremhall Avenue.
- At Coopers End Roundabout take the third exit.
- Follow signs to the Short Stay Car Parks.
- Take the entrance signposted as Blue Short Stay Car Park, which is after the Green Short Stay car park.
