You'll have the convenience of parking within the airport grounds at this car park - it's just 300 yards from the terminal. There's security for your car as well as easy access to the airport in Newcastle's official on-airport car park. You can rest easy while you're away knowing that there's CCTV, security patrols, entry and exit barriers, floodlighting and a fence.

The car park has 24-hour CCTV, 24-hour security patrols, entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting. It holds the Park Mark, a national security award for car parks which is accredited by the police.

Drive up to the barrier which will recognise your registration and lift to let you through. Take a ticket and follow signs to the Premium Long Stay area.

From here, park your car in any available space and walk to the terminal. It's a 3-5 min walk. Make sure you keep your ticket somewhere safe, as you'll need it when you come back.

Make sure you don't insert a credit or debit card into the barrier at any time or you may be charged for your parking again.
Early or late? If you are late, you may be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day. This is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

For any pre-booked vehicles parked in the wrong car park there will be an additional charge of £12.00 per day.
Transfers
It's a short 3-5 min walk to the terminal.
Directions
- The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696.
- Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north).
- Take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long-term car park.
